Free AI Citation Audit — Score the Answer You Got

Free AI citation audit

Does an AI assistant cite your site?

Type your domain and the question a buyer would ask an assistant. Then ask that question yourself in any assistant, paste its answer here, and this page scores the answer with the same parser the original tool used: which domains were cited, how often, and your share.

We strip the scheme and any leading www. — the rest is the domain we look for.

Live query: off on this page. The original page sent this form to POST /api/audit-baseline, which asked Gemini 2.5 Flash with Google Search grounding and returned the domains it cited. That endpoint has been retired, so this page works entirely from what you paste.

What still works: ask the question above in an assistant yourself and paste the answer below. The scoring is the original tool's, run in your browser. Nothing you type leaves it.

Paste it with its links. A domain written bare in the prose — acme.com — is excluded; the same domain as https://acme.com or www.acme.com is. That is the original tool’s rule, kept rather than corrected, and it is why an answer pasted minus its sources can score zero while naming you.

The original tool counted the engine’s source list together with the answer text; this box stands in for that list.

How this works

1. You ask your buyer question in whichever assistant you want to measure — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity. 2. You paste its answer here, along with your own URL. 3. Your domain is extracted from that URL in your browser, and stays there. 4. The answer is parsed for every domain it mentions, and each one is checked against yours. 5. baseline_score is your domain's share of the total citations found. This page works entirely from the text you paste: the scoring runs in your browser, and every constant the formula uses is editable and labelled beneath the result. It is the same scoring the paid GEO subscription runs — the difference is that the subscription asks the questions for you, on a schedule, and keeps the history.
